It stimulates the myelination process. The myelin is a fatty White substance that surrounds the axon of some nerve cells, and forms an electrical insulating layer. It is essential to the proper functioning of our nervous system. Myelination is the process of coating the axon of each neuron with this fatty White substance called Myelin, which protects the neuron and helps it conduct signals more efficiently.
